    HNTB is currently seeking a Technology Senior Project Manager in our Tampa, FL office.


    Manages one or more highly complex technology-driven programs consisting of multiple client projects in the areas of DOT, TSMO, Rail Transit, Toll Authorities, Freight Operations, and/or Aviation.



    Job Summary

    Manages one or more highly complex or enterprise wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.

    Essential Responsibility

    • Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various project plans.
    • Communicates with IT leadership to communicate program direction and changes.
    • Responsible for delivering all projects on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.
    • Coordinates work efforts and reviews work of others.
    • Leads special assignments on behalf of the group, office or division.
    • As needed, provide senior-level technical expertise on projects.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities

    Engages with clients and leverages knowledge and experience to recommend custom technology solutions to support or deliver new services that lead to project acquisitions. Develops proposals, scope of services, SOW, fee estimates, and project plans in support of client purists and projects. Leads projects and special assignments, performing as Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert as required, including:
    - Develops and maintains SDLC and other PM methodologies
    - Designs, builds, and deploys custom software and/or database solutions, including software engineering
    - Designs system specifications and performs code reviews
    - Installs and configures hardware and software
    - Designs and develops architectural diagrams (logical and physical) and workflows
    - Performs data analysis and builds visually dynamic reports
    Responsible for delivering all projects and technical solutions on time, within budget, and meeting business requirements.Leads IT staff, providing senior-level technical expertise, supporting day-to-day tasks of IT folks and reviewing work.

    Basic Qualification

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree
    10 years related experience
    14 years related experience in lieu of education

    Preferred Qualification/Skills

    Hands on experience with in the areas of project management, systems engineering, SunGuide back-end support, IT systems architecture, database management, software development and automation, active directory, security, compliance, and reporting.
    7 years project management experience
    5 years managing teams
    Certified Systems Engineer

    General Work Conditions

    Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
