    This position will report to the Marketing Manager and work in close partnership with our leadership and marketing teams to create visually impactful proposals, presentations, interview graphics, and other graphic deliverables to support the pursuit of large-scale sports and aviation architecture projects.

    The development of rich visual graphics is essential in reinforcing our message, highlighting our unique designs, and creating a lasting impression on our clients.  The visual character and aesthetics allows our teams to deliver our message of creativity and differentiation in a unique way.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about taking on new challenges, elevating the boundaries of creativity, and exploring diverse graphic styles to support visual story telling.  We want someone who will bring fresh ideas to the table and work in a collaborative setting with our designers, architects, planners and leadership team to win work.  

    Job Summary

    Creates templates and all required graphics for complex and/or mega proposals, interviews and in-house materials. Creates the design and layout, and coordinates production of various materials, including printed brochures, flyers, boards, etc., as well as some multi-media designs to create an image, communicate concepts, or deliver a message in the most effective way. May oversee the work of less experienced staff members.

    Essential Responsibility

    • Leads the design and preparation of templates and graphics for complex and or/mega proposals and presentations. May help determine the specifications, themes, ideas, concepts and methods to be used in producing graphic and pictorial presentations for materials. Works with pursuit teams to understand their needs and to develop direction, concept and specifications for assigned projects.
    • Coordinates graphic photo library and maintains electronic records.
    • Performs miscellaneous job functions such as photo/document scanning and electronic document creation.
    • Works with team leader to determine workload distribution and determine the need to bring in additional resources.
    • Determines if in-house documents are best distributed in print or electronic format and gets final approval from project manager.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities

    - Work closely with designers, architects, and project pursuit teams to develop vibrant and effective graphic solutions in alignment with brand standards
    - Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two-dimensional graphic designs.
    - Collaborate with other designers to support the creation of impactful visual templates for presentations, brochures, marketing collateral, and business development efforts.
    - Support multiple marketing efforts simultaneously with frequent deadlines.
    - Travel occasionally to support interview preparations and client presentations.

    Basic Qualification

    Bachelor's degree in Communications, Art, Graphic Design, or related area
    5 years art/graphic designer experience
    In lieu of education, 9 years art/graphic designer experience

    Preferred Qualification/Skills

    - 2 years A/E experience
    - Demonstrated skill in visual storytelling and the ability to create a visual graphic narrative to support messaging
    - Strong communication, organization, strategic and relationship building skills
    - Experience with a marketing team and/or in an architectural design firm is a plus
    - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), and MS Office required

    General Work Conditions

    Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
