HNTB is currently providing construction management on some of the area’s most exciting and challenging projects – the first light rail to be constructed on a floating bridge, a brand-new waterfront for downtown Seattle, and replacement of a hundred-year-old wooden railroad trestle. We are currently seeking highly qualified construction professionals to serve as Sr. Field Representatives supporting the construction of challenging transportation projects in the Puget Sound Region. The Sr. Field Representative will be responsible for monitoring of all field construction administration activities under minimal supervision to assure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the design and contractual documents.
Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of assignments such as: monitoring construction progress to assure proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule and contract requirements; assisting in the review and modification of schedules, specifications, and drawings; recognizing basic construction or engineering problems, and applying standard techniques and procedures to resolve same; preparing short-term schedules to identify potential scheduling problems and recommending possible solutions; reviewing completed construction work and maintaining checklist of items yet to be completed; and coordinating the activities of a survey team.
