    The time is right to join HNTB!  We are currently seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst to join our HR team in Kansas City, MO.

    Job Summary

    Provides functional and technical in-depth analyses in support of HRIS. Researches, analyzes, and maintains HRIS in support of human resources administration and projects. Continually monitors information needs and modifies existing systems to meet changing requirements. Serves as liaison with information technology staff in resolving programming and related problems.

    Essential Responsibility

    • Maintains, evaluates, troubleshoots and ensures data integrity of HRIS by performing routine audits of HRIS. Works to ensure data integrity, tests issues and system changes, writes reports, analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities and completes documentation on system and various modifications.
    • Provides functional expertise to user areas such as HR, Benefits, payroll and technology to define business problems and opportunities for improvement. Recommends and implements business process design and analysis to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts
    • Creates standard reporting and works with HR staff to define and design special reports required for various areas of HR.
    • Prepares statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS.
    • Develops project plans, scheduling, monitoring and communicating project status for assigned projects.
    • Maintains all system level table related documentation and updates to include tech user manuals and procedures.
    • Assists on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, and with Oracle developers on implementation of new programs.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualification

    - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
    - 5 years relevant experience

    Preferred Qualification/Skills

    - Previous HRIS experience utilizing Workday
    - Knowledge of HR processes, policies and legal requirements
    - Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible, a team player and interface professionally with all levels of internal customers.
    - Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    - Able to create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and use best practice testing methods and QA
    - Proven ability to partner with both internal technical and non-technical staff as well as third party vendors to deliver effective results
    - Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
    - 3 years personal computer applications. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access and HCM Cloud. Project management skills.
    - Working knowledge of HRIS software applications and products.

    General Work Conditions

    Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
