    The time is right to join HNTB Corporation!  HNTB is currently seeking a Contract Sourcer to join our Human Resources team in New York City.

    Job Summary

    Works with Recruiting staff to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing needs. Stays up to date with recruiting sources including social media networking, industry organizations, and referrals.

    Essential Responsibility

    • Using an established list of priority positions, develops a pool of qualified candidates using both traditional and creative sourcing strategies.
    • Partners with recruiters to understand technical requirements of position, the functions and how it fits into the organization.
    • Partners with recruiters to ensure adequate pipeline levels to meet current and anticipated demand.
    • Helps drive diversity recruiting strategies to attract a diverse workforce.
    • Effectively utilizes ATS to capture metrics for all recruiting activities.
      Establishes a list of qualified passive candidates for future roles using both traditional sources
    • and creative sourcing strategies.
    • Builds relationships with businesses, schools, industry groups, etc. in order to present HNTB as the employer of choice for potential employees.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualification

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
    2 years sourcing and recruiting experience
    In lieu of education, 6 years sourcing and recruiting experience

    Preferred Qualification/Skills

    4 years sourcing and recruiting experience
    - Experience sourcing for a variety of roles, ideally in an Architecture/Engineering environment
    - Experience using traditional sourcing tools as well as innovative sourcing strategies
    - Experience working in an applicant tracking system, preferably ICIMS 
    - Strong written and verbal communications skills
    Experience recruiting for engineers, CM and transit projects


    General Work Conditions

    Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
