HNTB a national leading full-service aviation consulting firm is seeking an Aviation Deputy Project Manager to become part of HNTB’s rapidly growing aviation design business team. This career position would be a part of HNTB’s expanding Aviation business in Florida.
Specifically, the initial position would be to serve as a deputy project manager in the Tampa office. Projects include architectural and engineering elements. The candidate shall be a professional degreed licensed architect, with airport terminal building and/or other airport experience. The candidate shall have experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects including engineering components.
Projects will involve engineering components such as roadways and other civil work. A professional engineer with similar airport experience will also be a strong candidate for the role. Airport landside roadway experience and experience in coordination in airport terminal work is preferred for a licensed professional engineer. Airside engineering and design build project experience is preferred.
Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as primary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget and with maximum client satisfaction. Handles the most complex projects of the largest magnitude.
