HNTB is seeking a Project Analyst I and II levels for our New York, NY Office.
The Project Analyst works closely with project managers to support 4 for 4 performances on projects: client satisfaction, on schedule, on budget, and quality work. The project analyst performs project analysis, coordination, accounting, and cash duties for an assigned portfolio of projects.
In this full-time professional role, multiple project managers, departments or even offices may be supported. The project analyst is responsible for following and adhering to standard policy and procedures and prescribed guidelines when completing duties. This position usually involves varied work within general procedures which requires judgment and initiative and is expected to be able to balance a heavy workload and competing tasks. This position reports directly to a Sr. Project Analyst or Office or District Business Manager.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance or related field plus 4-6 years related experience. 6-8 years exp. in project, accounting or exec admin role in lieu of degree is also acceptable.
Environment and Physical Requirements: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally.
