Job Summary

Responsible for providing technical CADD support to the business on a daily basis. Works independently with minimal guidance. Serves as a mentor and expert for less experienced staff.

Essential Responsibility

  • Assists with CADD software troubleshooting, working with end users to diagnose and resolve issues. Provides customer focused support to minimize TOJ disruptions by following standard, repeatable processes.
  • Oversees CADD software installation. Works with our CADD vendors as a support liaison for patches, bug fixes and upgrades as needed.
  • Oversees CADD standards; develops, implements and enforces application.
  • Develops and maintains CADD related documentation such as installation and troubleshooting processes as well as knowledge base articles.
  • Prioritizes and tests CADD software upgrades in preparation of firmwide implementation.
  • Provides support for printing and plotting within our CADD environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualification

Bacheor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering related degree
5 years CADD support and administration experience
In lieu of education, 9 years CADD support and administration experience
- Working knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley CADD applications

General Work Conditions

Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
