Overview

 

HNTB is looking to hire a Team Leader-Engineer for the condition inspection of bridges in their New York City office.

Job Summary

  • Provide advanced proficiency in the condition inspection of bridges
  • Must be proficient in scheduling inspection teams and equipment, and coordination of inspection work with contractors.
  • Must be fully competent to complete condition inspections with minimal direction, and prepare inspection reports that are clear and concise.
  • Must be able to manage multiple inspection teams.

Essential Responsibility

  • Must have a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school and have a current NY PE.
  • Must haveat least 10 years of bridge related experience.
  • Must be proficient in the English Language. Must have excellent communication skills and must be able to write inspection reports that are clear and concise.
  • Must have a drivers’ license and the ability to work at heights in bucket trucks and other lift equipment.
  • Must be computer literate with MicroStation/AutoCAD and have ability to work with MS Word and Excel.
  • Completion of NYSDOT Bridge Inspection Workshop and /or NHI Safety Inspection of In-Services Bridges required.
