Overview

HNTB is seeking a Division Marketing Director in one of our Bellevue, WA  offices.

Job Summary

Works directly with the division sales officer and division leadership to develop, execute and monitor the overall marketing strategy and help achieve marketing and sales performance goals. Approves annual budgets and assures commitment of staffing and financial resources as operationally required. Ultimately responsible for the effective performance of the division marketing department.

Essential Responsibility

  • Participates in, and contributes to, development of divisional strategic plans. Responsible for overall implementation of marketing plans and strategies. Works with division leadership to develop and execute strategic business plans, comprehensive marketing initiatives and client focused strategies.
  • Maintains thorough working knowledge of division mega projects, foundation and future foundation clients, and targeted clients, areas, and/or service lines.
  • Works with division management team to analyze division sales performance and make recommendations to enhance performance. Maintains a working knowledge of division sales goals and marketing budgets. Has an understanding of division performance relative to these goals and budgets, and the interface with goals of the Firm.
  • Manages, mentors and develops divisional marketing and graphics staff. Assures adequate support to all divisional offices and service groups, and ensures equitable distribution of workload between hub marketing offices.
  • Develops and implements division marketing processes, systems and policies. Bears ultimate responsibility for marketing QA/QC process.
  • Participates and plays an active role in marketing related meetings for key activities within the division, including client service plan review meetings, war rooms, pursuits kick-off meetings, etc. Participates in go/no go meetings and makes recommendations. Represents division at corporate level and participates in firm wide initiatives regarding marketing systems and processes.
  • Facilitates multi-office, multi-division, multi-discipline cooperation on areas such as job sharing and mega-project initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
10 years A/E marketing experience

Preferred Qualification/Skills

5 years marketing manager experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic thinking.
- Knows the industry landscape and is aware of latest developments.
- Ability to plan complex programs, meetings and events and implement them with success and within budget.
- Ability to collaborate with a range of professionals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to assess problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and budgets.
- Proficient with Microsoft office, SharePoint, Adobe and other communications-related software programs.

General Work Conditions

Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
